Saint John, Antigua: A few weeks ago, I headed to the beautiful island of Antigua to host the 55th Annual Miss Jaycees International Queen! The live televised event was held at the grand Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Miss Jaycees International Queen Show is one of the most prestigious pageants in the Caribbean. The show has been an integral part of Antigua’s Carnival almost from its inception. The pageant aims to elevate minds by elevating lives. Celebrating the national queens of the region and providing contestants a platform to represent their country on an international level. Contestants are judged on their talent, gown, public speaking, physical fitness and poise.

I had the pleasure of co- hosting alongside Norrell K. Josephh from Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority! We instantly clicked! Bringing our vibrant personalities and energetic hosting skills to the forefront.

This year's theme was Cancer Awareness. I must say all the delegates did a great job bringing awareness to Cancer and representing their country with style and grace!

The evening also featured performances by Soca star CLuadette Peters and several local artists.

Tasia Floissac, from Dominica took home the crown! She also captured best interview, best performing talent, best swimwear and most photogenic! Way to represent the #767!

1st runner up Antigua Barbuda - Leanda Ann Norville.

2nd runner up Nevis Akeisha Fergus.

Best Modelling Skills Evening Wear - Antigua barbuda - Leanda Ann Norville.

True to theme(Cancer Awareness) Nevis - Akeisha Fergus.

Miss Congeniality - St Kitts - Orngel Erskine.

I’d like to send a huge thanks to the entire Miss Jaycee team! Everyone was super friendly and made me feel at home! Thanks Michele Blanchard Design Gallery for the beautiful gown! You're an amazing designer. I love your work!

Crofton, Maryland: I was recently honored by Brown Girl Wellness & Step Toward Awareness as its Woman of the Year recipient! The prestigious award ceremony was held at the gorgeous Crofton Country Club.

I'm humbled to be recognized for both my career and community work! I recently read this quote that was really powerful. "There’s a natural tendency for people to look at success stories, whether they’re people or businesses, and think that it happened overnight. " Wrong!!!! It takes YEARS of dedication, sacrifices, poor days, tears, I can go on! My journey has been far from easy! Whatever your goals are, go for it! If you don't quit, it's amazing what can happen!!! Thanks again Brown Girl Wellness & Step Toward Awareness for this amazing honor!

Baltimore, Maryland: Jamming, rocking, feting, you name it! Baltimore Washington DC One Caribbean Carnival was epic! The annual event drew thousands of spectators and participants from the Baltimore/Washington DC area and beyond! Patrons enjoyed a colorful parade, music, food and live entertainment all enclosed within Baltimore’s Lake Clifton Park.

I had the pleasure of rocking the mic as a guest speaker! Emphasizing the importance of Caribbean culture and unity. It’s always an honor to use my voice to empower the community. Hey they don't call me “Motivational Moore” for nothing!

Nothing but great vibes! Special thanks to Trevor J. DeFreitas for capturing these images!

Potomac, MD: Awww! Nothing like hanging out with awesome people and exploring Mother Nature! That’s exactly the scene that took place on memorial weekend when a few of my girlfriends and I decided to explore Great Falls Park! I know I'm super late on this post! We traded in the typical day party 'turn up' for an afternoon of hiking and REFLECTION!

Great Falls Park is a gorgeous 800-acre park located along the Potomac River. Just 15 miles from the Nation’s capital, you’ll be able to find breath-taking waterfalls! I’m an outdoor girl so this is definitely my kind of chill spot! There is literally something for everyone! Hiking, picnicking, kayaking, rock climbing, cycling, horseback riding you name it!! The park is home to two locations in Maryland and Virginia. My girls and I decided to explore the Maryland side and boy did we have FUN!

We hiked, sweat, laughed danced and meditated! After a peaceful meditation session, I asked my friends to throw a rock into the water. The rock symbolized letting go of something that was holding us down. Pain, anger, fear, break-up! Just let it go! This activity was much needed for ALL of us! What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday! Can’t wait to explore more outdoor adventures!
